With the background of the problems parents confront when flying with children, we improve the comfort of family travel based on the analysis of the needs of the target users and the actual usage environment. The design idea does not lead to the airline's empty seat rate being raised. Increase the humanized design for children with airline seat features as the basic. Balance the comfort experience of passengers of different age groups.
Especially for preschoolers, who do not have the means to express their needs on their own. Therefore, in a special environment like the cabin, having a seat specifically designed for children can meet the potential physical and psychological needs of children. A human-centered design not only benefits the children who are the target users of the design, but also their parents and other passengers on board for a more comfortable travel experience.
The essence of in-flight child seat design is that all factors considered in the design process should be focused on the needs of the child.
All factors considered in the design process should revolve around the characteristics of the child. This means that the physical and psychological characteristics of children should be met in addition to the specific environment in which they are used in the cabin.
